Shell Marketing Terminal/ Diesel Tank Foundation Civil Works
Voice’s scope included the construction of a 40m diameter granular tank foundation for a 300,000 barrel capacity diesel tank. Sub excavation of the tank foundation was required including cement stabilization of the subgrade, aggregate placement, HDPE liner placement complete with leak detection piping and installation of an asphalt tank apron. Additionally, in place of cathodic protection, Voice installed a customized hot sand bitumen mix meeting the specifications of API 650.

Voice successfully executed over 25,000 man hours on this project with no recordable incidents. Additionally, Voice was able to achieve cost and schedule savings for the client by revising the cast in place box culvert for the main entrance pipe crossing with a precast sectional box culvert installation.
